ENG: Tori Sparks surprises us again. Just when you think you know what to expect from the American artist based in Barcelona, she does something completely different. Next March 8th, the musical ensemble known for its mix of flamenco fusion offers something different to her fans: Tori returns to her roots. She and her band will play tunes from her Nashville and Chicago days, as well as some new songs, in a “revival” of her blues, rock, country and Americana roots music like you've never heard it before.
This concert is doubly meaningful to Tori, as it will be her first concert with the band since last summer, when the singer suffered an injury to her vocal cords, aggravated by a bad case of COVID. She suffered a series of major health problems, and lost her voice completely.
Now, after six months full of doctors, therapists, hospitals, treatments and medications, she returns to the stage with this tribute to her musical roots, and also to the city that has welcomed and supported her since her arrival from Nashville, with just two suitcases and a guitar.
As if all this this weren't enough to make the night a must-see, in honor of International Women's Day (which falls on March 8th) Tori will invite several of her favorite Barcelona-based female artists to join her onstage to show off their own musical roots, in an homage to working women in the world of music and around the world in general. Guest artists include soul diva Koko-Jean Davis, Afropop powerhouse Marga Mbande, talented country singer Jodie Cash, vocal trio The Sparkles, and more to be announced.
It’s in this spirit of collaboration that Tori decided that the concert will have a charitable component: a percentage of the profits from tickets sold will go to a non-profit organization, the Ana Bella Foundation. This international network offers support, employment and educational opportunities to single mothers and survivors of gender violence.
The concert will take place at Luz de Gas and will begin at 9:00 pm. Doors open at 8:30 pm. Tickets are on sale now through Entradium

Por eso el título del concierto. La palabra “revival” no solo significa un avivamiento en el sentido músical, también significa un renacimiento: volver a vivir.
Y como si esto no fuera suficiente para hacer la noche un concierto imperdible, en honor al Día Internacional de la Mujer Trabajadora (que cae en el mismo 8 de marzo), Tori invitará a algunas de sus artistas femeninas favoritas de la ciudad a unirse en el escenario para mostrar sus propias raíces musicales, y rendir homenaje a las mujeres trabajadoras del mundo de la música y de todo el mundo. Artistas invitadas incluyen la front woman par excellence Koko-Jean Davis, la diva poderosa de Afropop Marga Mbande, la cantante talentosa de country, Jodie Cash, el trio de voces bonitas The Sparkles, y más por anunciar.
Es este espíritu de colaboración que Tori decidió que el concierto tendrá un componente benéfico: se destinarán un porcentaje de los beneficios de las entradas vendidas a una organización sin fines de lucro, la Fundación Ana Bella.
