Six years ago the renowned American singer Tori Sparks made the move from Nashville, Tennessee (US) for Barcelona, pain. Her fifth album 'El Mar' (Glass Mountain Records, 2014) was a collaboration with the trio of flamenco fusion Spanish, Calamento, and is mix of blues, folk, rock, and flamenco. The bilingual album was an international success, described by the press as "indescribable, incredible" (Deruting), "adventurous" (Rolling Stone), "pure art” (Los Conciertos de Radio3), and "very special, a monster of a record” (Orpheo).
Two years later, the group has released a second album, 'La Huerta,’ having triumphed at festivals (the Voll-Damm International Jazz Festival, InFusion Flamenca, the GREC Festival, others), and on tour in Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy and other countries.
